Associate Degree of Accounting

The Associate Degree of Accounting is a new two-year higher education qualification that prepares you for a career in accounting. As a graduate of the associate degree you can springboard your way into the third year of an accounting degree at one of our partner universities¹ through the Tertiary Pathway to Accounting.
The tertiary pathway offers you the best of both worlds – the benefits of studying an industry-developed associate degree at TAFE NSW combined with the benefits of a university qualification. Our university partners are Australian Catholic University, Charles Sturt University, Macquarie University and University of New England.
This associate degree is ideal for people who want a practical industry-focused qualification which includes an industry internship.

Entry is open to anyone with either HSC, CERTIFICATE IV, Mature Aged Student or completed 12 months of a Degree.
